THIS PROJECT MUST BE BUILT USING ANY OPEN SOURCE CMS or SOCIAL NETWORKING SOFTWARE. Like Joomla, Elgg, Drupal etc. MAIN FEATURES WILL BE LIKE http://www.exploretalent.com I would like to build a Social Networking with the following features (Social Networking is secondary for the website) This is more or less like a job site with the following features (but built around a Social Site) Like any Job Site, Members will create a Profile ( 2 Types of Members - Job Seeker and Employer - I will provide different titles Later) Job Seekers: will create profiles and proceed to categories (Like Job Categories) They will have the ability to post anything like a Video, Audio, text etc. This will become a part of their profile. However, when someone views an Audio, Video or anything else posted, the initial profile will show in right or left module by default. SIMPLE! Employers: Anyone can view profiles or content posted by Job Seekers, but must register as an Employer to Contact a Job Seeker. Employers can also post jobs in categories we list. If you use any open source app, I guess the SEARCH comes as a part of it (hopefully or you need to customize it) We would also need a payment gateway - We may charge both members in future for posting anything or we may restrict a Job Seeker from posting more than say one video or audio for FREE. We may also require an Employer to post jobs or contact Job seekers. Say contacting first 5 is free...so need to set multiple options. You need to create a Member access control and Membership Levels. SINCE WE ARE BUILDING THIS AROUND A SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE, ALL FUNCTIONS IF A SOCIAL NETWORKING WILL REMAIN (NETWORKING, BLOGS, FORUMS ETC) I would need a backend access to do admin functions. So you must use only an open source app to build this. For front end, I would need you to create logos and webdesign(3-4 designs)- Leaving positions to display banner/Google ads with an adrotator from the backend. FRONTEND: We will show latest stuff posted by Members like videos, audios, messages etc. and also show requests/jobs posted by Employers at some position.
