Currently our client has a single page shopping cart that is loaded with bug and errors. We would like to scrap the existing system and replace it with a new one. What we require ---------------------------- We need a custom developed e-commerce system, that will integrate with PERCHCMS (http://grabaperch.com/) STRICTLY No open source software is to be used, the entire system should be custom designed for us. (Exception is granted for use of a program like x-standard to wysiwyg handle product text entry) Coding Language -------------------- The coding language required will be php5 for coding mySQL for the database. Payment Gateways -------------------- Paypal will be the only payment provider / gateway. System Composition (administration area) -------------------- The administration system should enable our client to; • Add new products to the site • Upload product photos and the system should re-size them to the dimensions we set (using gd library????) • Set up basic coupon codes that can be redeemed in the shopping cart. • Functionality for products to have ‘options' eg. a clothing shop could have a “size” dropdown list and a “color” drop down list, so a customer could choose to purchase a size 12 blue t-shirt. We will need to be able to set up these options via the administration section All arewas of the shop (eg. cart, pricing, products etc.) should be controlled via PerchCMS template tag system #8722; Other context/requirements that providers will need to know: Quality of work is VERY important for this project. We will expect that the system provided is bug- free, and we would expect a commitment from the programmer that any bugs/errors found within 45 days will be fixed free of additional charge. The project must be built using table-less xhtml/css. Specific expertise that I am seeking: You should have experience developing e-commerce systems and should have developed at least one custom ecommerce system we can have a look at. Timeframe for delivery: I need to have this up and running within 7 working days.
