i need to add a second shopping cart for product samples, customers need to be able to click a button that is right below "add to interest list" and it will be labeled "add to sample cart". i have the store currently setup so that the customer submits their order without having to pay and that order total goes to my clients email. i need the customer to be able to pay for the samples that they choose as the shipping for samples (since samples are small) will be regular ups. The actual orders themselves are shipped in cargo crates in large amounts overseas so the shipping calculation is done manually after the user submits their "interest list" here is an example of a site that has the sample ordering setup like i would like to have mine setup: http://flooring.builddirect.com/Laminate-Flooring/Result_N_4294967290+4294966290_Ne_127.aspx if you add one of the samples to your cart then go to: http://flooring.builddirect.com/Laminate-Flooring/-Distressed-Red-Maple/ProductDisplay_6951_P1_10071521.aspx and add that product to your cart then click view cart across the top and you will see how the cart is divided, something like this would be great - only i would like to have this function integrated into interspire shopping cart. IN SHORT: i need there to be two order totals, 1) the shipping cost for any *SAMPLES* that are added to the cart. 2) the cost of all the standard products that are purchased the customer will pay total "1" (above) then and there via credit card on the site. the customer will not pay total "2" (above) , at least not through the site. the order for total "2" will be put into pending status in the backend for us to review and we will contact the customer for payment when we can. the total "2" will usually be such a high number that most people would not be paying through a web based interface anyways, its the type of business where the customers need to speak with us in order to feel comfortable with dishing out that kind of money. thanks
